In this webinar Mark Bolda, Farm Advisor in Strawberries and Caneberries with the University of California Cooperative Extension, Santa Cruz County, will discuss lygus bugs in strawberries. Lygus bugs are serious pests of strawberry, and by some estimates cause an annual loss of 20% statewide. This webinar will cover the description of lygus bugs and their relationship to strawberry, including the role of the surrounding environment on lygus bug severity. Traditional management and advances in managing lygus will also be discussed.
