About the Event
Dr. Robert Van Steenwyk will be speaking about the development of a new lactone WHF pheromone lure and its improved trap catch. This lure will allow growers to anticipate the need to apply an insecticide earlier than standard lures. For olive fruit fly, trial results will be presented of the control of OLFF with insecticides. We will present results showing how a new bait will increase the efficacy of the control.
