Regenerative Soil Techniques for the Home Gardener
About the Event
Regenerative Soil Techniques for the Home Gardener
Learn practical, regenerative soil techniques you can use in your own yard or containers to grow healthier plants and support a more resilient local environment.
In this workshop, you’ll explore what makes soil truly “alive” and how to build it using approachable, proven methods. We’ll cover composting, mulching, and other regenerative practices like cover cropping, vermicomposting, and sheet mulching (lasagna gardening).
Growing healthy soil leads to more productive vegetable gardens, stronger fruit trees, and more vibrant flowers—all while conserving water and reducing waste.
This interactive class will be held outdoors, with time for questions and practical takeaways you can use right away in your own garden.
