About the Event

June is the time to evaluate your irrigation system in your vegetable garden.  Join Karen Slinkard, UC Master Gardener of Yolo County to discuss how to modify your irrigation when it gets really hot later in the summer. Karen will share her experience from more than 50 years of gardening in Yolo County.

The UC Master Gardeners Yolo County workshop, Gardening For Year-Round Meals will meet  at the picnic table next to the hoop house at Grace Garden, located behind the United Methodist Church at 1620 Anderson Road, in Davis.

Grace Garden is a volunteer-run, 5/8-acre garden that provides thousands of pounds of fresh produce to help feed the hungry every year. The garden also provides teaching and outreach to educate the community about gardening, the environment, and sustainable practices.
