Join UC Cooperative Extension & UC Organic Agriculture Institute for an Organic Dairies Soil Analysis Workshop


Attendees are encouraged to bring their most recent soil test report, CNMPs, and/or farm soil map to this workshop, which will take a deep dive into using results to make management decisions.

  3. (10:10 - 10:30am) Soil Health Overview: Josh Beniston & Vivian Wauters
  4. (10:30 - 12:00pm) Rotating Small Groups:
    1. Types of manure: nutrient content & how to connect to management decisions: Fiona O'Neill
    2. Soil test interpretation office hours: Josh Beniston
    3. How to create a soil sampling scheme to answer your questions: Vivian Wauters
  5. (12:00pm) Evaluation & Lunch (provided)
