Tracy is the Regional Director of the F3 Local Initiative which is a regional initiative that supports small-scale farmers and food entrepreneurs in California’s Central Valley. She also leads the Southwest Regional Food Business Center, which provide business and marketing education, as well as financial support, to small food and farm businesses across Arizona, California, Nevada, and Utah. Since 2012, she has led community-based programs across California with UC ANR, driving efforts to build a more inclusive and resilient food economy.

As a social scientist, Tracy’s expertise focuses on program management, community engagement, training, and program development. She previously served as a United States Peace Corps Volunteer in Central America as a food security extension agent, and as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer along the U.S. Mexico border. In recognition of her service in both roles, she received the Harris Wofford Award for outstanding civic engagement at home and abroad.

Tracy earned her degrees in Social Science and Environmental Studies from CSU San Diego and UC San Diego.
