I began her career as a Child Development Counselor at the San Diego Center for Children, where I ensured the safety of youth through crisis intervention, supported individualized treatment plans, and built strong therapeutic relationships with children facing significant challenges. Later transitioned into the criminal justice field, joining GEO Reentry Services. Over nearly 13 years, I advanced from an entry-level Client Services Specialist to Case Manager, Aftercare Coordinator, and ultimately Program Manager. As a Program Manager for the California Department of Rehabilitation, overseeing daily operations as a contractor.

During my tenure with GEO, I managed internal operations, strengthened customer and community partnerships, implemented evidence-based                programming to reduce recidivism, supervised sobering houses, and conducted monthly audits to ensure program fidelity. Guided by my belief that people can change when given the right support and environment, I found deep purpose working in rehabilitation center.

I shifted focus back to youth development and is excited to serve as the new Community Educational Specialist 2 for the 4‑H Program. In this role, I'm    committed to creating a safe and positive learning environment, delivering high‑quality educational experiences, and expanding program visibility to help    establish new clubs throughout the community.

I hold an associate degree in Sociology from Southwestern Community College and a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from San Diego State University.
