Hopland REC 75th Anniversary Open House

Celebrate 75 years of the Hopland Research and Extension Center with us! All are welcome to our FREE Open House on Sunday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is free to the public and will allow visitors to explore the beautiful oak woodlands and meet the scientists studying the land. 

Activities will include: 

• Self-guided hikes and guided hikes
• Bird watching
• Wool crafting
• Meet a California Naturalist
• Sheep at work!
• Wildlife tracking
• Studying ticks and tick-borne disease
• Oak regeneration

Visitors are invited to bring a packed lunch or purchase lunch from a food truck that will be on site. Events will be family friendly with some stations suitable for younger children and other topics more suited to adults.
