Helping Central Valley Dairies Thrive

Our Dairy Extension Program, serving Fresno, Madera, and Kings Counties, supports dairy producers and dairy-related businesses by providing practical, research-based information they can put to work in their operations. Through UC Cooperative Extension, we collaborate with the local dairy community to share science-based tools, education, and on-farm support to improve efficiency, sustainability, and herd and farm management. We assist producers in adapting their operations to address current and future environmental concerns while conducting applied research to solve real-world challenges facing the local dairy industry, with the goal of strengthening and sustaining dairies throughout the Central Valley.
