About the Event
Come Grow, Learn, Play, and Shop with Us!
This fun, free event for children and adults will be held at Nokhnoma Teaching and Demonstration Garden* in Santa Rosa.
- Activities for children will include items they can make and take home such as corn husk dolls, sun catchers, gratitude banners, seed pots, garden art rocks, and more!
- Marketplace will feature an assortment of 4-inch and 1-gallon succulents, succulent containers, succulent topped pumpkins in assorted sizes, small and medium wreaths crafted with flora, cones and/or succulents, oyster shell succulents and decoupage oyster shell ornaments, beaded light catchers, and gardening books. All proceeds benefit the UC Master Gardener Program of Sonoma County. Cash, checks and credit cards accepted.
- Information tables will be staffed with Sonoma County Master Gardener volunteers who will share home gardening information, answer your home gardening-related questions and provide information about our programs and projects.
- Partner organizations on site will include the Girl Scouts, Sonoma County Bee Association, Children's Museum of Sonoma County, Master Food Preservers, Zero Waste, Sonoma County 4-H, and others.
General information
- ADA-compliant porta potty on site.
- ADA parking will be available.
- Water available for filling water bottles.
- Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes suitable for walking on unpaved, uneven paths
- Bring a hat if desired.
- No animals allowed, except trained service dogs.
- Food and beverages will not be available, bring your own snacks or picnic lunch.
