About the Event

Join the UC Master Food Preservers of Sacramento County for an informative hands-on class on making sourdough bread.  Learn how to make dough, techniques for scoring and baking dough, maintaining your starter and more!  You will take home a dough to bake at home.

Registration will include the following: ingredients, jars, resource material and use of UC Master Food Preserver equipment.

  • dough to finish a loaf at home
  • lame (scoring knife)
  • proofing basket (banneton)
  • instructions

When: Saturday, October 17, 9 AM to 2 PM
