The volunteers of the UC Master Gardener Program of Sonoma County provide science-based home gardening information to the community. Our vision is to cultivate environmental stewardship one garden at a time.
Our 2024 Impact Report, linked here, outlines the many ways we help educate and inform Sonoma County home gardeners. The report has more information about some of the key activities we sponsored this year in support of the following themes:
- inspiring children to connect with nature,
- collaborating with community gardens to improve food security,
- empowering adaptation to a changing climate.
Details about our unprecedented $1.04 million grant from Sonoma County Ag + Open space and a snapshot of our community partnerships are also included.
