Grace Garden Plant Sale and Garden Tour
About the Event
The Plant Sale will be ongoing from 9:00-11:00 on the back patio of the United Methodist Church followed by a Garden Tour 11:00-noon. Ann Liu, UC Master Gardener of Yolo will give a walking tour of Grace Garden and historically trace how the garden has grown and how it applies UC Davis Cooperative Extension research to better grow fresh veggies/fruit to feed the food insecure.
At 9:00-10:10 Meet and Greet Rich Marovich from Rotary Club of Winters who can tell you more about how Yolo residents can participate in the Monarch Waystation Project. Sign up for free native plants.
At 10:15-10:45 Hear Bakuhatsu Taiko Dan a student-run Japanese cultural drumming group at U.C. Davis.
