About the Event

Join Karen Slinkard, UC Master Gardener of Yolo County, to learn how to use herbs from your garden to make exciting meals in this free workshop, one in our monthly Gardening for Year-Round Meals series. Herbs make wonderful teas and add magic to every meal.  This class will focus on growing and using fresh and dried herbs.  We will also have a discussion of what you can plant in your garden now.

The workshops take place in Grace Gardens located behind the United Methodist Church.  Grace garden is a volunteer-run, 5/8-acre garden that provides thousands of pounds of fresh produce to help feed the hungry every year. The garden also provides teaching and outreach to educate the community about gardening, the environment, and sustainable practices.
