About the Event

You may be familiar with California Native ornamental plants, but did you know that there are Mediterranean climates around the world that have the same growing conditions as we have here in Santa Clara County? They produce many beautiful ornamentals that grow very well here and need low water and little or no fertilizer. October and November are the very best months for putting these plants in the ground. Come and learn about beautiful, hardy, ornamental plants from other Mediterranean climates, as well as some California natives that would be great additions to your waterwise garden.
