About the Event

It’s time to start thinking about planting your vegetable garden!

Join UC Master Gardener Maria Guerra for a unique talk on purple vegetables that grow in our zones 9b and 10a. This will include peppers (both sweet & hot), eggplant, beans, tomatoes, microgreens (including Mizuna), lettuce, herbs, and chards.

Maria is also a Master Composter and Master Food Preserver. She will share a lot of helpful information for your upcoming garden selections. This talk will inspire you to think out of the box when planting your spring/summer/fall vegetable beds.
