About the Event

We’ll tackle midsummer vegetable questions and demonstrate summer fruit-tree pruning. Do you trim your tomatoes, buzz or tap your tomato flowers, trim your basil for more bounty? When do you side-dress your tomatoes and manually pollinate your cucumbers and squash? We will have a Summer pear pruning demonstration and will discuss key reasons to prune or not to prune fruit trees in the summer. Bring a sun umbrella or hat to see the demonstrations in the garden.

Meet us at the “Waterwise Garden”, intersection of Center Drive and Martin Avenue, 851 Center Drive. There is parking on Center Drive.
