Academic Employees New to UC or Transferring from Another UC Campus or ANR Unit
A break in service is any separation from employment status. Academic Human Resources will coordinate the transfer with the transferring campus to ensure continuous UC service. Your appointment end date with your transferring campus must occur no earlier than the day before your appointment begins with your new UC ANR unit.
For example of continuous service, your transferring campus ends your appointment on March 15th, therefore your UC ANR appointment should begin on March 16th (regardless of the day of the week).
ANR Academic New Hire Checklist
This checklist includes all of the required forms such as: State Oath of Allegiance, Patent Agreement, Compensatory Time Off (CTO) Election Form, W-4.
All forms are required unless stated as "voluntary".
