Workgroup Information

California Naturalist

Summary We welcome you to participate in the new UCANR Califoria Naturalist workgroup which was created to engage members in joint activities and discussions surrounding extending information about California’s environment, increasing the capacity for stewardship, and engaging communities in environmental education. This workgroup will help ANR academics and other leaders in the field share information and co-develop programs. This workgroup is essential to build relationships that will enable the participants to learn from each other. The intention of the workgroup is to increase our individual capacity to serve the public’s interest in the environment, increase public science literacy, and advance the role citizen science can play in science education, participation, and research in California.
