Biography

Leigh Taylor Johnson is a Coastal Resources Advisor Emerita, based in San Diego County. Her research and education programs address water quality and invasive species issues related to California boats on the coasts of California and Baja California, as well as quagga mussels and other invasive species that infest freshwater transport systems and ecosystems. Her expertise is in policy analysis, coastal water quality, aquatic invasive species, conflict resolution, and facilitating strategic planning for complex, environmental issues.

Please visit her Coastal Resources Program website to view and download reports, fact sheets and articles based on her research programs. Most are in English; several are also in Español.

Her Blogsite is Boating Environmental Forum
