Ergonomic Training and Assessment
We offer both in-person and remote ergonomic workstation evaluation. Please complete the online ergonomic assessment and training to be evaluated.
UC has collaborated with Risk & Safety Solutions to provide ergonomic training and self-assessment at all employee workstations at the office, home, and other work areas. For the UC ANR employees and affiliates, this will require login with your UC ANR credentials.
To access the training and begin the process, use this link to Risk & Safety Solutions:
https://app.riskandsafety.com/. Use your UC ANR email/credentials to log in.
Once you are logged in, click on "Computer Ergonomics Self-Assessment". It will lead you to the training videos, modules, and questionnaires.
Then click "Enter". It will lead you to an ergonomics training module, which you are required to complete.
Once you complete the training, proceed to fill out questionnaires regarding your workstation. Please choose the answer choices that most accurately depict your workstation condition. The choices are designed to not only understand your situation but also educate the proper habits and postures at your workstation. Please do not correct your answers - it will help us understand the ergonomic risks and make proper adjustments at the time of your ergonomic evaluation.
Once you have completed your assessment online, we will reach out to you for an in-person or virtual ergonomic consultation to discuss your concerns as well as provide adjustments and solutions for your ergonomic needs.
Working at Home
If you are working at home, we recommend the Healthy Working @ Home training and assessment module, which includes guidance for setting up your home workspace and working safely at home. UC Davis log-in credentials are required.
