Beginning in FFY 2020, local health departments will be expected to complete an annual assessment of all school, early care and education, before/after-school, and retail sites where they are engaged in site-level PSE work, using new Site-Level Assessment Questionnaires (SLAQs). LHDs may choose to begin this assessment process in FFY 2019, to gain valuable information for planning for FFY 2020 and to assess progress more accurately.
In this webinar, we will introduce you to the SLAQs and review expectations for LHDs to complete them. Upon completion of this training, you should be able to:
- Differentiate between IWP Blueprint core assessment activities and LHD FAP assessment requirements
- Identify the settings for which SLAQs are available, and where LHDs must complete them
- Differentiate which of your sites will require a completed SLAQ from those that do not
- Describe, in general terms, the content of the SLAQ instruments and how they work
- Prepare subcontractors and other partners to conduct SLAQ data collection
