What Does a Community Education Specialist Do?
A Community Education Specialist provides one-on-one assistance (often on-site at the farm) for any farmer or rancher. We specialize in the application, implementation, and verification processes of climate smart programs. This assistance can look like:
- Filling out an application, step-by-step
- Project planning and implementation navigation
- Compiling and submitting verification documents
- Offering soil sampling equipment and advice
- Hosting informational workshops
- Providing resources regarding climate smart farming practices
- Finding alternate funding programs
