Under the direction of the Community Education Supervisor 2, Community Education Supervisor 1 will supervise the nutrition educators, support staff, and volunteer extenders delivering the UC CalFresh Nutrition Education Program to low-income adults and youth in the Los Angeles County area. Duties will include close supervision of program staff and volunteer interns; assisting with the design, delivery, management, and evaluation of the UC CalFresh Program in partnership with county-based agencies/organizations serving to CalFresh eligible adults and/or youth; monitoring documentation, evaluation, and reporting for the UC CalFresh Nutrition Education Program (NEP); and development of community partnerships through involvement in local collaboratives and events.
This position is a career appointment that is 100% fixed.
The home department for this position is UCCE Los Angeles County. While this position normally is based in Alhambra, CA, this position is eligible for hybrid flexible work arrangements for applicants living in the State of California at this time. Please note that hybrid flexible work arrangements are subject to change by the University.
Pay Scale: $56,700/year to $77,100/year
