September Vegetable Planting Guide

September is a major month for vegetable planting to provide a continuing crop of vegetables for the winter season. Some summer vegetables may be showing signs of mildew. If the plant has significantly reduced its production, it should be removed. For the next few months, judgments will need to be made when plants have produced the majority of their crop and can be removed to make way for the fall to winter plantings.
