Some Program Teams and workgroups will be meeting at the Sustainable Food Systems Strategic Initiative Conference, which will be held Oct. 11 to 13 at Freeborn Hall, UC Davis.
Program Teams are umbrella structures under which workgroups now operate. The objective of this structure is to provide a more efficient and effective means for workgroups to meet and carry out their essential functions, and enhance inter-workgroup communication and collaboration.

Registration is now open for the Sustainable Food Systems Strategic Initiative Conference, which will be held Oct. 11-13, 2011, at Freeborn Hall at UC Davis.
The theme of the conference is “Strengthening Our Connections: People, Issues and Policy.”

Broad input is being sought for the Sustainable Food Systems Strategic Initiative (SFS SI) conference. A survey has been developed by the strategic initiative panel to facilitate conference planning. The SFS SI conference will be held at the UC Davis campus on October 11-12. While the conference will formally conclude at lunch on Oct. 12, accommodations are being provided for program teams/workgroups to meet during the afternoon/evening of Oct. 12 through lunch on Oct. 13.
