UC Open Enrollment is now available through the At Your Service website from Oct. 28 through Tuesday, Nov. 26, until 5 p.m.

Open enrollment is still about three weeks away, but UC Office of the President has already posted information — including medical plan premiums — to help you start considering your options for 2014.
It is a year of major change. UC is dropping four medical plans and adding two. Anthem Blue Cross PPO and PLUS, Anthem Lumenos with HRA and Health Net Full HMO are being discontinued. Kaiser Permanente, Health Net Blue and Gold, Western Health Advantage and Core (administered by Blue Shield) will still be available.

Saturday, June 30, 2012, is the final deadline to submit documentation to verify the eligibility of family members for UC health benefits. If you have not already done so, please fax the required documentation to Secova Inc. as soon as possible at (866) 412-0214, or scan and upload to https://verify.secova.com/uc to ensure that you and your eligible family member(s) do not lose coverage.
If you, the employee, are the only one covered, Secova won't contact you.

UC Human Resources in March 2012 launched a systemwide project to verify the eligibility of all family members of faculty, academics, staff and retirees for enrollment in UC health benefits (medical, dental and vision).
In late March 2012, all faculty, staff and retirees with enrolled family members received a packet at their home mail address from Secova, Inc. requesting documentation for those enrolled family members.
