In preparation for the new design for our websites, we are upgrading the code base of Site Builder today. This shouldn't affect any functionality in the system; however, if you do detect any bugs or odd issues, please let us know.
Thank you for your understanding. We are excited to take this step towards a brand-new design!

Can you give us a heads up on what you mean by "the new design for our websites", please?

Hi Sharon. We engaged a vendor last fall to create a new design for UC ANR's websites. We are working on implementing it now. We will have more updates soon on the timelines, look and feel, etc.

I guess I'm still confused by what you mean by "the new design". Is this a new design that just affects cosmetic things like colors, graphics & fonts, or will the layout & behavior of the user interface be affected also? A bit more explanation would be most appreciated. Thanks!!

Hi Sharon. This will be mostly a cosmetic upgrade for the vast majority of our sites. The main UCANR site, www.ucanr.edu, will be getting some new features and a workflow system for creating content. This workflow will allow for content to have creators, editors, and approvers. We plan on pushing this feature out to all sites soon, but we are starting with www.ucanr.edu. We'll work up some blog posts in the next week or two with samples of the new design and workflow, to better explain what we are up to.
