The ANR Blogs have seen quite a few more changes this week in both the administration area and the public side. In the Administration area we've changed the main section of the page from lists of links to more informative view of your Blog. The new view shows the number of posts on your blog, number of comments, comments waiting to be approved, stats from the past month, and more. There are also links to each of these summarized areas to see them in greater detail or deal with moderation needs. The Administration area is in it's infancy stages and will be going through several changes / additions before the final form is settled upon.

The web team has gone dark the past three weeks, both physically and emotionally. We've been busy re-writing the entire Site Builder help site. Now, after applying flowery prose to more than 100 pages, after amassing enough screen shots to build a PowerPoint of Mass Destruction, we are pleased to announce that the Site Builder Help pages are complete!
Not only do we explain how things work, often to an acceptable degree, we also put together a list of best practices and attempted to defined how things can be used rather than just how they work. Were we successful? We invite you to be the judges.

Another new feature was unleashed on Site Builder 3. This one gives you the chance to erase the past. That's right, all of the problems of yesterday, gone with the click of a checkbox.
Site Builder 3 allows you to put ratings on each one of your pages. Go to Page Properties and enable ratings to place a "out of five stars" or "helpful/not helpful" poll at the bottom of your page. Users can then tell you what they think.

Additionally, if you're wanting...

Mike Poe and Ray Lucas, part of ANRCS's media team, recorded our Site Builder 3 training on October 27, 2010, in Davis. They used Adobe Connect and a camera to capture the essence, the very SOUL of Site Builder 3. Although I can't bring myself to watch the presentation, I've heard it is almost adequate.
You can now view the class in its six-hour entirety. I know what you're thinking: how about a "Director's Cut" with an additional four hours of footage. Maybe a gag-reel? Someday, folks, someday.
Site Builder Training is AWESOME Training

In response to my own blog post, I've added another option to Spotlight Stories. In the Spotlight Group editor, you can now choose to add a link to "View All." This will bypass the story and take the user directly to the list of all stories.
Hopefully, this will assist those of you who would like to invite users to view more than just the one random or most recent story added.
