4-H Record Books serve a variety of purposes in the California 4-H Youth Development Program. 4-H Record Books give members an opportunity to reflect on their yearly work. They document their skill development and their learning experiences in a written report.
In general, youth members and volunteers may enroll in 4-H at any time during the program year. However, youth must be fully enrolled and approved in the ZSuites system before participating in any 4-H activities and must be enrolled by December 31st to be eligible to show at fair.
