Download the Staff New Hire Checklist and work with your employee to complete the new hire paperwork as soon as you receive approval from HR. The paperwork listed in the Staff New Hire Checklist is required to be completed on or before the first day of employment, unless otherwise noted.
The Layoff/Reduction in Time process must be completed for any percentage reduction in time, or a layoff of a career position. A Layoff/Reduction in Time occurs within the layoff unit, is based on those in the same title code, and is determined by inverse order of seniority.

In 2017, a new method of payment for all Camp employees has been implemented. To ease the process of hiring, compensating, and keeping time records, we have pre-set wages for each camp employee type. They are now paid a one-time payment so no salary analysis or time sheets are necessary.
After your selected candidate has been approved by Affirmative Action, your HR Generalist will begin working on a salary offer. For most positions, this salary offer will need to be approved by Senior Management before making the verbal offer.
