Snap Peas

Snap peas (Pisum sativum var. macrocarpon) are my favorite cool-season vegetables to grow. Snap peas produce edible pods with sweet, plump, edible peas inside. In fact, all parts of the pea plant are edible, even the shoots and tendrils.
