Make new friends. Try something new. Discover new interests. 4-H is a safe place for youth to explore interests and develop new ones.

Projects You Can Join:

4-H projects give you a hands-on way to find your "spark" - something that you enjoy doing and that interests you. Projects can start at different times of the year and can vary in each Community Club.

  • Animal science
  • Civic engagement
  • Expressive arts
  • Healthy living
  • Leadership
  • Primary member projects (open to youth ages 5-8)
  • STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture & Math)

Youth Members

Your 4-H age is your age on December 31 of the 4-H program year.

Primary members are 4-H ages 5-8

Youth members are 4-H ages 9-18

New Members

1. Find a club

Find a Community Club near you, then contact the Club Leader to learn about projects offered. You can also contact Trinity 4-H Community Educator Erin Paradis at ecparidis@ucanr.edu or (530) 224-4900 to learn more.

2. Complete a Youth Enrollment application on ZSuite

3. Submit enrollment fee

The enrollment fee for 2024-2025 is $77 per youth member and is payable to your Community Club.

Activation

The Trinity County 4-H office reviews and approves 4-H member applications after all steps have been completed.

Once your enrollment is made active, you can begin participating in 4-H projects and activities!

Returning Members

All 4-H members must renew their enrollment each year.
