Driving Directions
From the South (via I-880 North):
Take I-880 North toward Oakland. Take Exit 27 for Winton Avenue. Turn right onto W. Winton Avenue and continue for approximately 0.5 miles. The office is located on the right side just past the Hayward Hall of Justice and across from the Hayward Adult School. Look for the 224 building.
From the North (via I-880 South):
Take I-880 South toward San Jose. Take Exit 27 for Winton Avenue. Turn left onto W. Winton Avenue and continue for approximately 0.6 miles. The office will be on the right side, just past the Hayward courthouse and across from the Hayward Adult School. Turn into the parking lot at 224 W. Winton Avenue.
From the East (via I-580 or CA-92):
Take I-580 West to CA-238 South, then merge onto I-880 South. Take Exit 27 for Winton Avenue, then turn left onto W. Winton Avenue. Continue about 0.6 miles—the building will be on your right at 224 W. Winton Avenue.
—Alternatively, from CA-92 West, merge onto I-880 North, take Exit 27, and turn right onto W. Winton Avenue. The office will be on the right side after 0.5 miles.
Parking
Option #1
The Winton Avenue Alameda County Office Building has dedicated public parking in the front of our building. Pay with credit/debit card at the kiosks and leave the receipt on your vehicle's dashboard. For unloading, you may park in the yellow zone in front of the building door.
Option #2
A pay parking structure is located on Amador St. across the street from our building (max rate is $4.00 per day).
