The UC Master Gardener Program of Alameda County is here to support you in growing thriving plants and sustainable gardens. Our trained volunteers provide free, science-based gardening advice and education to residents throughout the county. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced gardener, we’re here to help!

Farmers Markets – Get your gardening questions answered by our experts at local farmers markets.
Help Desk – Have a plant problem? Ask our Master Gardeners for tailored advice via email, online form, phone hotline, or in-person visit.
Demonstration Gardens – Visit one of our gardens in Alameda County for inspiration, fresh air, and a chance to chat with Master Gardeners.
Community Events – Request to have a Master Gardener staff an information table at your event.
