What are the Academic Assembly Council (AAC) travel funds?
These funds support travel to meetings with professional societies that hold regularly scheduled meetings for the reporting and exchange of knowledge among members. These organizations publish peer-reviewed journals and/or conference proceedings to promote professional growth.
Who can apply?
UC ANR Cooperative Extension Advisors, Cooperative Extension Specialists, Academic Coordinators, Academic Administrators, Professional Researchers, Project Scientists, and Specialists (non-CE) are eligible for one meeting reimbursement per fiscal year (July 1–June 30). Program Committee approval applies only to reimbursement from the Professional Society Travel Fund.
When is the application period?
Calls for applications are posted throughout the fiscal year.

Coffee with the Assemblies
- What: Coffee with the Assemblies
- Who: All ANR staff and academics are welcome to join leadership from Staff Assembly Council (SAC) and Academic Assembly Council (AAC) for monthly drop-in coffee chats.
- When: Every fourth Tuesday of the month from 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
- Why: These coffee chats help SAC and AAC understand employee priorities, identify emerging concerns, foster collaboration, and provide updates on current initiatives and opportunities for involvement.
- How: Join using the Zoom link. Download the calendar invitation to add meetings to your calendar.
