Tulare County UC Cooperative Extension 4-H

Tulare County 4-H Youth Development Program
Discover a place where youth grow into confident leaders and make a real impact in their communities. Tulare County 4-H welcomes youth ages 5–18 and adult volunteers to explore new interests, build lifelong skills, and connect with their communities through hands-on learning experiences.
As part of the University of California 4-H Youth Development Program, young people develop leadership, confidence, and practical skills through agriculture, STEM, healthy living, civic engagement, and more.
What is 4-H?
4‑H is delivered by Cooperative Extension—a community of more than 100 public universities across the nation that provides experiences where young people learn by doing. For more than 100 years, 4‑H has welcomed young people of all beliefs and backgrounds, giving kids a voice to express who they are and how they make their lives and communities better.
Through life-changing 4-H programs, nearly six million kids and teens are learning the skills and abilities to be resilient, adaptable and ready for work and life.
Youth can participate in 4-H through community clubs, in-school and after-school programs, and military partnership programs.
