We are proud to acknowledge and celebrate the incredible accomplishments of our BOLD teen leaders, Elena, Sophia, Fynn, and Veronica, who led an outstanding workshop on November 17th. Ten participants engaged in a fast-paced, interactive session that was nothing short of inspiring. The youth leaders demonstrated exceptional teamwork, seamlessly handing off tasks and checking in with each participant.
Participants went from shyly entering the room to standing confidently in front of their peers and parents showing remarkable growth. They introduced themselves, shared their plans, answered questions with poise, and left the workshop with a clear path forward to prepare for Presentation Day on February 8, 2025. As a special recognition of their willingness to step outside their comfort zones, each participant received a BOLD cap along with a custom-made 4-H clover to display on their backpacks—tokens of their commitment to be BOLD in 4-H.
The teamwork, support, and confidence displayed throughout the day will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on everyone involved. This includes the parents who observed the entire workshop and witnessed how youth mentoring youth fosters leadership development and inspires growth for all.

We are thrilled to welcome T’Nay Pham as the new 4-H Program Coordinator for San Mateo and San Francisco counties. T’Nay has deep roots in 4-H, having grown up in Calaveras County where she raised various livestock and participated in the Calaveras County Jumping Frog Jubilee every year since she was eight. Her passion for 4-H continues through her own children, who are active 4-H members in Santa Clara County, raising dairy goats, market hogs, and taking on leadership roles within their club. T’Nay is excited to give back to the 4-H community and help youth in San Mateo and San Francisco counties create the same cherished memories of 4-H that have shaped her own life.
