Youth Gardening Program Mission Statement: “Our goal is to educate the youth in our community in UC research-based gardening concepts, through fun, interactive, hands-on experiences.”

Why teach youth to garden? Planning a garden, planting the seeds and watching them grow gives kids a sense of purpose and responsibility. Furthermore, studies show that when children have contact with soil during activities like digging and planting, they have improved moods, better learning experiences and decreased anxiety.”

Come by their booth, anytime during show hours, while supplies last.

(Limit 1 plant & pot per child)
