Fresno County Master Gardener Spring Garden Tour
9-4 Rain or Shine
We are already busy preparing for this year's tour. Plan on joining us for a wonderful day touring a variety of beautiful gardens.
There’s something for everyone: water-wise gardening, sustainability, garden design and, of course, beautiful plants. You will come away with new ideas for your own garden!

The Chapman Garden – This amazing historical home and garden is located on Van Ness Boulevard. This five-acre property showcases 400 roses, with fruit trees, hydrangeas, and mature trees. On this spacious property you’ll also find a pool, cabana, outdoor kitchen, and an adorable wishing well.

The Graham/Kindler Garden - Located on Christmas Tree Lane, this home and garden was built in 1942. There are beautiful mature trees and boxwood hedges, azaleas, and camellias. There are many spots to sit and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of roses, vegetables, herbs, and orchards.

The Halverstadt Garden - This Clovis Garden is a prime example of what you can grow in a smaller space. The garden is brimming with fruit trees, raised beds of vegetables and flowers and interesting artwork made by the homeowner. Every inch has something to enjoy.

The Lopes Garden - While this lovely garden is smaller, it is full of drought-tolerant plants and ideas. There are many areas to enjoy the views of this lake front property. The outdoor kitchen is a wonderful place to entertain after practicing on their own putting green.
The Pegram Garden - Walking through the gates of this Asian inspired garden will put you into a calm mood. With no detail overlooked, the landscape was designed and installed by the homeowner. What a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the pool and gardens.

GARDEN OF THE SUN - Glorious every season of the year, but especially lovely in spring, the demonstration garden is tended by knowledgeable Master Gardener volunteers. Admission is always free to Garden of the Sun, and don’t miss the plant sale! (cash or checks only)
