WORKSHOP on LOW COST SOIL SENSORS FOR EFFECTIVE ORCHARD IRRIGATION
What: Learn about the benefits of data-based irrigation using low cost soil moisture sensors and data-systems. This workshop will showcase several relatively inexpensive sensor types and data systems. We will demonstrate effective installation, discuss tips about the number and placement of sensors for informed irrigation that can improve crop health and reduce costs.
