About the Event

Come learn about growing California natives in your garden.  UC Master Gardener Jasmine Martinez will discuss why you may want to add California Natives to your garden.  She will cover selection, site preparation, planting techniques, and irrigation practices for establishing and maintaining native plants.

The talk (10 to 11 am) will be held inside the community garden area at McClellan Ranch Preserve. The talk will be followed by a tour (11 am to noon) of the community garden and the UC Master Gardener demonstration garden. UC Master Gardeners will be available to answer garden questions.

Please bring a chair, water, and a hat to the talk.

Parking: There is a parking lot with about 20 spaces at McClellan Ranch Preserve, and an overflow parking lot with 30+ spaces and 1 accessible space, a short distance west of McClellan Ranch Road. The overflow parking is on the right.
