Course Description
This California Naturalist course is offered through the Western Shasta Resource Conservation District (WSRCD), in partnership with the California Conservation Corps (CCC) Redding Field Office. The course will focus in particular on natural history, ecology, natural resource management, and conservation issues relevant to Shasta County and the Sacramento River watershed in Northern California.

Organization Description: The mission of the Western Shasta Resource Conservation District is to collaborate with willing landowners, government agencies and other organizations to facilitate the conservation or restoration of western Shasta County’s natural resources. The Western Shasta RCD is involved with the following types of projects: Wetland and Riparian Habitat Restoration, Forest Health, Site Mitigation, and Conservation Easements.
