Saving Seeds from Your Garden

UC Master Gardener Naomi Mier will demonstrate how to save and store seeds from your garden. She will explain when to harvest seeds, how long they will last, and when it makes more sense to start with commercial seeds.

UC Master Gardener Presenter Naomi Mier: Naomi is a UC Master Gardener and Master Composter. She enjoys all aspects of vegetable gardening: seed saving, seed starting, growing, harvesting, preserving and sharing. She gardens in raised beds, containers and in-ground. Naomi is responsible for growing the pepper and eggplant varieties for UC Master Gardener Spring Garden Market.
