Christopher A Greer

Chris Greer is the UC Cooperative Extension Area IPM Advisor for San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties. Chris earned a B.S. in Bioenvironmental Sciences from Texas A&M University, and his PhD in Plant Pathology at the University of California-Davis. His current research activities are focused mainly on disease and insect pests of strawberry, vegetable crops, wine grapes, avocado, and citrus. He has also been utilizing drones for the last six years in his research and extension program to measure plant stress associated with plant diseases and other pests.
