The Buffalo-Skedaddle Working Group was established in 2001 and still meets regularly to organize conservation efforts in the area. Approximately 15 agencies and organizations are involved in the Buffalo-Skedaddle Rangeland project. These include federal and state land resource agencies, local government, local and state conservation groups and agricultural organizations. The working group uses a collaborative process that capitalizes on collective knowledge and experience to achieve meaningful, longer-lasting outcomes.
