9/26 : Introduction to Gardening: A great way to get started in a new garden
A healthy garden starts with healthy plants! Learn practical strategies for growing strong, resilient plants and preventing pest problems before they begin. This class will explore the role of beneficial and harmful insects in the garden and how understanding the difference can help you create a healthier, more balanced landscape. Discover simple, proactive gardening practices that encourage plant health and help keep pest problems under control.
10/10: Herb Gardening
Keep your herb garden healthy, productive, and ready for harvest! Learn how to successfully grow herbs in containers or directly in your backyard garden while recognizing common pests and diseases that can affect them. This class will cover practical, safe strategies for preventing and managing herb garden problems so you can enjoy healthy, thriving herbs throughout the growing season.
10/17: All about Ants!
Ants can be a persistent nuisance in both the home and garden, but effective control starts with understanding why they are there. Learn how to make your home and garden less attractive to ants, what to do when ants invade your house or plants, and why simply spraying pesticides often provides only temporary relief. This class will explain how ant baits work, why they are an effective control strategy, and how to use them as part of a practical, long-term approach to managing ants.

11/7: Irrigation: Save Money on Water
Is your irrigation system working efficiently—or sending water down the sidewalk? Learn how to evaluate and improve your irrigation system to provide your landscape with the water it needs while reducing waste, runoff, and erosion. This class will cover practical strategies for customizing irrigation methods to fit your landscape, improving system performance, and saving money on water while maintaining a healthy, thriving garden.
