UC Cooperative Extension San Diego County

Agave Workshop Group

Welcome

UC Cooperative Extension San Diego connects local needs with the power of UC research. Our county-based team lives and works in the communities we serve, delivering practical, science-based solutions across the region.

We support San Diego farmers with efficient growing practices, pest and disease management, and improved water and irrigation strategies. We promote smart water use, wildfire and invasive-species education, and stewardship of our unique natural resources.

We strengthen community health through nutrition education, active living programs, and youth development through 4-H. Volunteers in the Master Gardener and 4-H programs help extend our impact countywide.

Partnering with local, state, federal, and private organizations, we are San Diego’s stewards, problem-solvers, collaborators, and educators.

We are UC Cooperative Extension San Diego.
