Marin Knotweed Action Team
Japanese knotweed, an invasive plant posing severe risks to the environment and property, has been identified in Marin County and specifically the San Geronimo Valley and Lagunitas Creek Watersheds. The number and size of known patches are small, creating the unique opportunity to completely remove it. The Marin Knotweed Action Team was formed for this purpose and is asking homeowners, community leaders and organizations, and all that are interested to join in this effort so we can be successful in protecting Marin’s streams and homes.
