UC Master Gardener Presenter Michael Klein: Michael joined the UC Master Gardeners of San Mateo/San Francisco Counties in 2011, bringing his passion for gardening and sustainability to his community. Over the years, he has led clinics on topics such as pruning and grafting, and has spoken at various gardening events on subjects including All About Alliums, Edible Landscaping, Fall Vegetable Container Gardening, Greenhouse Gardening, and Growing and Preserving Italian Herbs. In addition to his gardening expertise, Michael kept a beehive on his property for several years, deepening his appreciation for all pollinators and their vital role in our ecosystem. His hands-on experience with both gardening and beekeeping makes him an ideal guide for anyone interested in creating a bee-friendly garden.
